seeking an artist for a special portrait or concept that's important to
you, I would love to be your person! I offer art in multiple media as
well as a variety of sizes.
- Media: oil, watercolor, colored pencil, digital compositing,
photography, graphite, and pen (Conte' pencil/crayons in sanguine,
black, and white)
-Sizes: I like working large, but am perfectly
happy creating on a small surface as well.
-Surfaces: Acid-free, archival watercolor paper, either smooth or
textured. Acid-free, archival drawing paper. Canson toned papers.

-Timeline: Watercolor, colored pencil, graphite, pen and Conte' can take four to six
months depending on complexity and size. Digital composting takes
two-three months, photography about a month for an edited piece. Oils
will take two months to a year, depending on size and complexity
-Prices start at $200 for a finished piece and range upward depending on size, complexity and medium.
-Tarot Decks can be ordered either through me directly at email@example.com or through this website. Price is $85.00.
-You purchase a commissioned work. I require 50% of the quoted price
before I begin anything. From there on, payments can be made until the
balance is $0.00.
-We have a conversation on what
you desire. This can be through emails, texts, or a phone call. If you
live or are visiting the Salt Lake City area and would like to meet at
my studio, we could chat
-When we have agreed on all aspects of our project, I will send you an initial sketch/digital mock-up so that you can approve
the general composition and my interpretation of your concepts.

I shot several references of the young man in the oil painting above and then composited them. As you can see, the finished painting has different angles and his face and the face of the dog.
The drawing to the right is a quick graphite sketch on 9x12 paper.
The watercolor to the left began with a photo of the little girl on a school playground. Her mom was reminded of the circus, so she is now a circus performer.
The painting below is an oil that was commissioned by a law office in a town north of Salt Lake City.
The images below are digitally composited. They incorporate photos from my studio, locations around the valley where I live, and at least one trip. The center image background is made of at least five different photos that I took.
